At Asian Bridge International School, our Kindergarten program for students in Nursery, LKG, and UKG is thoughtfully designed to nurture our youngest learners in a safe, engaging, and interactive environment. Our teaching and learning approach is rooted in a play-based philosophy, recognising that children learn best through exploration, discovery, and hands-on experiences.

 

Our primary goal is to build each child’s confidence while fostering curiosity and instilling a lifelong love for learning.

The daily Kindergarten experience focuses on the development of foundational skills across several key domains:

  • Language and Literacy Development – Building listening, speaking, early reading, and writing skills through stories, conversations, and phonics activities.

  • Numeracy Skills – Developing number sense, patterns, measurement, and problem-solving through interactive, hands-on learning experiences.

  • Social and Emotional Development – Encouraging collaboration, empathy, independence, and positive relationships.

  • Physical Development – Strengthening fine and gross motor skills through structured activities and purposeful play.

  • Creative Expression – Inspiring imagination and creativity through art, music, movement, and dramatic play.

  • Environmental and Conceptual Awareness – Promoting curiosity about the world through exploration and inquiry-based learning.

At Asian Bridge International School, our Elementary Program goes beyond traditional teaching. We are committed to building a strong academic foundation while nurturing confident, compassionate, and socially aware individuals and empowering the blend of both Japanese and Nepali Cultures. Here, innovation blends seamlessly with quality education to create meaningful learning experiences.

In Grades 1 to 3, we believe learning should feel like an adventure, not a chore. Through hands-on, activity-based learning, students explore concepts in dynamic and engaging ways rather than relying on rote memorisation. Our younger learners have the time and space to create, discover, and develop confidence naturally — keeping their curiosity alive and thriving.

As students transition into Grades 4 and 5, the academic structure becomes more defined while remaining interactive and student-centred. We work towards maintaining a thoughtful balance between academic excellence and personal growth, ensuring students are both challenged and supported.
